About
Hello there! My name is Maria Bouchard. I am currently studying Film and Animation at Rochester Institute of Technology. My goal is to work in the animation industry.

So far, I have produced the multi-disciplinary animated fantasy coming-of-age film Scrapbook Staccato and the 2D digitally animated horror film Tiny Bites! I am currently working on a third animated film called idk public school wasn't that bad i guess. It will be an absurd, comedic exaggeration of my experience growing up in the New Jersey public school system.
Outside of animation, I have produced the live-action short film East of the West, painted a mural that is currently displayed in a public park, and worked tirelessly to revive RIT's nearly inactive Animation Club. As the E-board President of that club, I have utilized my excellent time mangement and communications skills to set a more consistent meeting schedule, coordinate a panel of four industry professionals to come speak to our club members, and planned the club's first field trip and the club's first fundraiser.
I enjoy experimenting with different programs and tools for animating. Though I may switch between Toon Boom, After Effects, TVPaint, Dragonframe, and any other animation program I can get my hands on, I consistently maintain a fun, comedic energy in my work.

I am available for illustration, film, and animation projects.
